· Ample shade provided by a huge Sugar Maple tree right outside

· Each room comfortable for up to three people

“The Hilton” 6,7,8,9 A-N (Hostel Style)

· Located in the heart of Buffalo Gap Camp and central to all camp amenities

· Hostel-style, private rooms, connected to a large, central communal area

· Large communal space features couches, tables, refrigerator, and ceiling fan

· Fourteen rooms, comfortably sleep groups up to 24 in number

o Single twin bed rooms include: 6A, 6B , 7G, 8H, and 9N

o Double bed rooms include: 6C, 7D, 7E, 8J, 9K, and 9L

o Two twin bed rooms include: 7F, 8I, 9M

· Shelves and hangers in each room

· Six communal bathrooms each with shower, tub, sink and toilet

“Elmer’s Bunkhouse” Cabin 18 (Dormitory Style)

· Private Dormitory-style bunkhouse cabin located in a quieter corner of the downhill cabin area

· Large space, can comfortably sleep 15 people or host a small workshop / conference group:

o 11 twin beds and 2 bunk beds each with 2 twins

· Ample wall shelving and hangers to store all your gear

· Easy access to creek, picnic area and gymnasium

· Outdoor common areas with picnic tables, fire pits and charcoal grills

· Attached bathroom facility with two showers, sinks, and toilets

· Peaceful, shaded deck, perfect for relaxing

CABINS

What is included with each Cabin:

bedding with comfortable mattresses
shelving to store your goods
closet racks to hang your clothes
Cabins also include stone fire ring and picnic table areas nearby throughout camp.
Fans in most - some ceiling, some box. Bring your own if necessary.

Coming Soon:

Microwave ovens (currently located in some cabins)
Small to mid-size refrigerators

What to Bring for each Cabin:

Fitted and flat sheets / blankets, comforter, or sleeping bag / your own pillow
Towel for showering
Padlock(s) for room security
An extra fan if you get hot easily (box or other)
A small microwave oven, small refrigerator
a cooler with ice to keep food and drinks cold
a small propane cooking stove or charcoal grill
Bring your own pots / pans / cooking implements / utensils
Bring a flashlight and lantern for sitting around the campfire and picnic tables in the evening as well as for moving around camp.
Bring your own paper plates / plastic utensils / paper towels / trash bags.
Bring your own food / drinks and other non-included camping supplies.

What Else to Bring:

Bring your own eco-friendly soaps and sponges for washing your dishes / pots and pans.
Bring your own water storage containers for drinking and dish washing water
Bring your own loppers (branch trimmers) if you wish to cut up fallen and trimmed branch debris that covers much of the campground area. Do NOT cut down live branches or trees.

Self Check-In / Registration:

at the Registration / Payment / Information Kiosk located at the Dining Hall.
Please register before choosing a campsite or upon arrival for cabin and campsite rentals, and fill out and sign Liability Waiver envelope.
Blank Liability Waiver envelopes are available at the Dining Hall Check-In / Registration area. Remit payments and signed envelopes into secure payments mailbox at check-in.
Pets okay at all cabins. Barking dogs during Quiet Hours (10:00pm - 8:00am) is not okay.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Pit-Bulls are banned from the Buffalo Gap properties.
Firewood $5/container, available near the staffed canopy upon entering the campground -- foraged firewood is free.
The campground Shower Houses (men's and women's) are located just near the uphill cabins -- 6 temporary private shower's located at at Cabin 6/7/8/9 (the Hilton) - also a rinse shower by the lake/beach and at the sauna.
