Buffalo Gap Camp is located just 4.7 miles off or Rt. 50 from Capon Bridge, WV 26711.

From Rt. 50 in Capon Bridge, WV 26711 (www.mapquest.com): If heading east on US Rt. 50, just before the green truss bridge over the Cacapon River, make a left onto Cold Stream Rd. If heading west on Rt. 50, turn right onto Cold Stream Rd. just past the green truss bridge. Proceed on Cold Stream Rd. approximately 4.7 miles to the Welcome to Buffalo Gap Camp sign. Turn left at this sign onto the gravel road -- labeled Rubenstein Rd. (Joe Shanholtz Rd. on navigation systems) -- proceed another 1/2-mile and turn right into the secluded camp. If the gate is not staffed, proceed to the Dining Hall for Check-In / Registration, as well as: firewood payments, camp maps and brochures, and price sheets for cabin / campsite rentals. Also, vending machines, wi-fi network, and food / drink vendors just outside the dining hall. |
