Buffalo
Springs Park West and East

This hiking trail / horse trail area features a number of large open spaces tucked amongst the trees. The trek in is for those with a bit more stamina, and being set in the woods, is perfect for full nature immersion. This section of the campground offers the nature enthusiast easy access to hiking trails for majestic views, bird watching, seasonal raspberry picking (late June / July) or simply meditating in the woods. Registered horses very welcome.
· Main entrance to Buffalo Springs Park West is via the gravel / dirt road across from Swisher Hall and past the red stage. Buffalo Springs Park East is entered between the Workshop Barn (Building 35) and Phoenix Cabin (Cabin 34) at the end of the Uphill cabins area. A public water spigot is located off the Workshop Barn.
· Parking is located at Swisher Gymnasium, the dumpster turnabout or the turnabout below Phoenix Cabin (Cabin 34). Parking in the Common area also puts one close to Buffalo Springs Park East.
